Dumont Reformed Church has always been mission minded and we will continue in that tradition.  We have supported various ‘RCA’ Missionaries throughout our existence.  Presently we are supporting Dick & Donna Swart & family who serve in Ethiopia.  Through our offerings and assessments we also support other ‘RCA’ missionaries and ministries her in America and elsewhere.

We also support through prayer & financial gifts the following ministries:  Gideon’s (International Bible Distribution Ministry); Words of Hope ( International Radio & Print Ministry); Western Theological Seminary and Central College; Bridgeway Church (a mission church in Ames, Iowa); Hospice; Compassion International (through the RCYF); plus others.

We consider our Sunday School and Youth Groups as forms of mission/outreach, so therefore we also support them and their special projects with our prayers & additional financial gifts.  Some of the local areas of support include: Summer Vacation Bible School, Dumont Food Pantry, Hampton-Dumont After Prom, Franklin County Ministerial Association, and the Dumont Ambulance.

We also maintain a Deacon’s Fund that is used to assist people of our congregation in times of need and also people of our community and surrounding area.

We have and will continue to support individuals God raises up from our congregation to serve Him on short term mission experiences.  We close off the year-end mission fund my sending financial gifts to various other missions and ministries.
